This photo was taken on a foggy morning in North Park, PA (Allegheny County). I was fortunate enough to be able to get a chance to go on a quick hike before work on this day. Quite a bit of my photographs from North Park during September are taken here at Skyline trail as I tended to gravitate toward this field once the goldenrod bloomed. There are a few other shots from this same morning that I have posted, but I only recently developed this one when going back through my archives.
Here are the Natural Slides at Ohiopyle. Supposedly the sandstone has been worn down enough to make it smooth enough to slide down... you'll never catch me doing that, however.
Further downstream from the natural slides is this scene. Taken at Ohiopyle State Park in Southwestern Pennsylvania, this Fall photograph of Meadow Run is taken at pretty low flow, exposing the details of the stream bed.
