This photograph was taken at Ohiopyle State Park's Meadow Run. You can get to this area by parking at the Meadow Run Natural Slides entrance and making your way downstream just a few hundred feet. I created this wide shot by stitching together four different photographs taken with a 40mm lens as using a wider lens wouldn't have produced the same perspective. Be sure to check out the panoramic sized prints for this one!
Cleland Rock is the best place I've found at McConnells Mill to see the sunset, and on this evening it was full of color. While I hadn't taken many other keepers on this outing, this final shot proved to be a keeper. This photo was taken with a Pentax DA* 300mm lens on the Pentax K-1.
This photograph is from Ohiopyle State park and features the Meadow Run Cascades. The Cascades do require a bit of a hike to reach, but it is well worth the effort if water levels are somewhat high. Despite being in the middle of Fall, I made the decision to feature this scene in black and white, as it isolates the waterfall and deepens the contrast between the water and the background.
