This photograph is from Ohiopyle State park and features the Meadow Run Cascades. The Cascades do require a bit of a hike to reach, but it is well worth the effort if water levels are somewhat high. Despite being in the middle of Fall, I made the decision to feature this scene in black and white, as it isolates the waterfall and deepens the contrast between the water and the background.
This shot was taken at Cleland Rock Overlook in McConnells Mill State Park. After raining all day, it cleared up just before this picture was taken. The fog that you see was rising from the Slippery Rock Gorge at a pretty quick rate, and had filled the entire field of view by the time I left.
