Cleland Rock Overlook is a natural scenic overlook at McConnells Mill State Park in Lawrence County, PA. It had rained pretty hard for most of the day, but I was glad that I stuck around until the end so that I could get this shot. In addition to the fog rising from Slippery Rock Creek in the valley below, there were just enough clouds in the sky to make the scene more interesting. This is by far my favorite picture that I've taken with the Pentax 18-135 lens, and one of my overall favorites, too.
Frozen Log over a Waterfall was taken at the base of the North Park waterfall connected to Marshall Lake. In addition to the texture that the water and ice have created on the log, I chose to publish this photograph because of how the log splits the scene into two different types of water flow, as well as into warmer and cooler color temperatures.
An Autumn Morning was part of a series of photographs that I took in the area around North Park lake. This particular shot is looking east over the lake with the sun shining through the trees.
