This snowy picture was taken at Salamander Park in Fox Chapel. The snow added a nice contrast and helped to make an otherwise boring scene a bit more interesting. This was a great place to go for a quick walk at lunch when I used to work out there.

Stoney Camp Falls is what I believe to be the name of a waterfall located in Fox Chapel's Trillium Trail. This is the lower of two small waterfalls that can be reached easily by following Falls Trail from the parking lot.

Spring is great time to visit Beechwood Farms in Fox Chapel, PA. There are enough trails too keep you busy for an hour or two and the hiking is moderate enough to accommodate most people.

This photograph was taken for the same reason as most all of my flower pictures... testing out a new lens. In this case, I was using an old but well regarded manual lens - the Pentax SMC K 55mm F1.8. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the 3D rendering, of these Coneflowers.
