This photo was taken on a foggy morning in North Park, PA (Allegheny County). I was fortunate enough to be able to get a chance to go on a quick hike before work on this day. Quite a bit of my photographs from North Park during September are taken here at Skyline trail as I tended to gravitate toward this field once the goldenrod bloomed. There are a few other shots from this same morning that I have posted, but I only recently developed this one when going back through my archives.
This Autumn photograph was taken at Ohiopyle State Park along the Meadow Run Cascade trail. Despite being late in the season, a lot of the leaves on the trees were still green. However, the ones that had fallen and turned orange created a nice color contrast with the lush greenery.
Located just after the natural slides, this section of Meadow Run calms down considerably before emptying into the Youghiogheny river. My goal in this shot was to capture the depth and tranquility of the scene and make it feel like you were walking down the same path.
