This photograph of a McConnells Mill State Park waterfall was taken in the early Spring, after a couple days of good rainfall. Eckert Falls dries out pretty quickly and is best after an extraordinary amount of rain or during the Spring thaw. Now that the waterfall was no longer covered in ice, I was able to safely climb behind it and capture this unique perspective.
This photograph is taken at the base of Quakertown Falls in Lawrence County, PA. As I was making my way downstream after taking some up close shots, I thought this would be a great perspective of the lower half of the waterfall, as it seems to disappear behind the wall of debris that have built up in front of it.
Updated 5/23/19 - Along Falling Spring Creek is a photograph taken just downstream of Quakertown Falls in Mahoning Township, PA. Once it got closer to noon and the light became too harsh to photograph the main waterfall, I decided to head downstream to see if there was anything else of interest and came across this scene.
