Late Winter Waterfall is a photograph taken at Fall Run Park in Shaler, PA. This waterfall is usually very dry unless it is right after a Spring melt. This long exposure photograph was taken late in the afternoon with the setting sun warming up the scene.
This photograph of a McConnells Mill State Park waterfall was taken in the early Spring, after a couple days of good rainfall. Eckert Falls dries out pretty quickly and is best after an extraordinary amount of rain or during the Spring thaw. Now that the waterfall was no longer covered in ice, I was able to safely climb behind it and capture this unique perspective.
This photograph is taken at the base of Quakertown Falls in Lawrence County, PA. As I was making my way downstream after taking some up close shots, I thought this would be a great perspective of the lower half of the waterfall, as it seems to disappear behind the wall of debris that have built up in front of it.
